Three Politicians Abducted Right From PDP Caucus In Rivers

The chairman of Port Harcourt local government chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ikechi Chinda and two other party members have been kidnapped on Wednesday in Port Harcourt.
Chinda was kidnapped along with Chiyere Igwe, a former member of House of Representatives who represented Port Harcourt constituency 1 in Rivers, and Alwell Ihunda.

A member of Rivers House of Assembly, Victor Ihunwo told journalist that the three men were kidnapped while attending a PDP's caucus meeting at the Eagle Island office of Port Harcourt local government.
According to Ihunwo, unknown gunmen invaded the PDP meeting and took away the party chieftain.
Ihunwo said the abduction of the PDP's chieftain was politically motivated.
He called on the kidnapers to release the men unconditionally.
