At the end of the sanctification process, Governor Adams Oshiomhole was quoted to have said that the process was necessary to wade off evil from the seat of
power in the state and to also give him and his cabinet members good guidance.

These incidents among several others most people believed might have informed the spiritual dimension the governor has now adopted to cleanse the seat of power.

In his reaction, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Peter Okhiria, told Saturday Independent that the sanctification was a way of putting the affairs of the government in the hands of God.
