Hell was let loose today as a misunderstanding ensued
between residents of the great Nnamdi Azikiwe hall [university of Ibadan ].
It all started during their hall week when these
zikites hires a tricycle
[keke napep ] to add colour to
their carnival that was to hold on Sunday, but unfortunately, the so called tricycle did not show up. In reaction to this a couple of zikites went to
the driver and demanded their money back, but the driver seemed unconcerned and
rebuffed them saying he owed them no
money and that they could do their worst. Infuriated these zikites went back to
their hostel to report to the hall
executives who in turn led a mob to the
park at agbowo opposite the school.
On seeing
the mob the driver took to their heels but this driver was chased until he was caught by one
of the students. In an attempt to settle
the matter a police woman closeby who veered into the matter slapped the
student who without blinking an eye gave the woman a dirty slap.
Embarrassed
the woman left the scene to call her “oga at the top" from sango police station before the issue was finally settled.
And the student who slapped the police woman went freely with the
support of other zikites
fueled by the argument that the policewoman crossed her boundary first.
