The United States of America soccer federation on Thursday announced that they will be playing against Nigeria in an international friendly on June 7 in preparation for the 2014 FIFA World Cup. Nigeria will be camping in Houston USA, for the World Cup and would play the match as one of their tune-up games for the tournament. Already confirmed is a friendly against Scotland on May 28, and the Super Eagles will be playing in an eight-nation invitational tourney,also taking place in USA. Ivory Coast, Spain and Bosnia are some of the countries playing in the tournament in USA. USA are in the same group with Ghana,Portugal and Germany for the World Cup,which explains why they are playing the Super Eagles who have a similar pattern to the Black Stars of Ghana.
