The Osun State Commissioner of Police, Ibrahim Maishanu, Wednesday paraded 12 armed robbers at the police headquarters in Osogbo, with a warning to criminals to stay away from the state.
Some of the suspects were said to have confessed to be members of robbery gang operating along the Ipetu-Akure express way in Osun State. Motorcycle snatchers, Aluko Bola and Ibraheed Abiodun, were also arrested in Osogbo by the police. The duo were said to be specialists in snatching motorcycle from the owners at Ede and in Osogbo. A silver colour Toyota Camry car with registration number Lagos AAA 185 BJ, locally made guns, seven motorcycles, charms, axe, and other dangerous weapons are some of the items recovered from the suspects.
