The presence of security operatives is being felt in the capital city and surrounding towns in order to ensure that participants are safe, after a bomb attack  in Nyanya area of the Federal Capital Territory on May 1st by members of Boko Haram caused fears of insecurity in Abuja.
Many participants arrived yesterday from within and outside the country with registration still ongoing till the time of filling this report.
Nigeria Politics Online correspondent at the Forum, Jerry Bambi reports that there are not much activities lined up for today as participants are moving around networking.
“The city is calm. Registration of media and other participants is still taking place. As regards organization and security, every thing seems perfect so far. And obviously, abuja is on lockdown for this summit
“For now, its pretty much about the delegates cutting across business, politics and civil society meeting up with persons and groups and organizations represented here but the real deal is tomorrow,” he reports.
The forum is the 24th edition of the event, with the theme, ‘Forging Inclusive Growth, Creating Jobs’.
The delegates will discuss innovative structural reforms and investments that can sustain Africa’s growth while creating jobs and prosperity for all its citizens.
